История логотипа Starbucks 
Новый логотип, который был разработан Starbucks вместе с Lippincott, представляет собой сирену на зелёном фоне. Текстовую часть с внешним кольцом убрали.
Когда мы впервые услышали о возможности изменения бренда Starbucks, голова пошла кругом от возможностей. Это проект нашей всей жизни. Любовь к этому бренду стала причиной креативности дизайнеров Starbucks.
С самого начала мы хотели отнестись с уважением к узнаваемым и знаковым частям логотипа Starbucks. Мы выделили четыре основные части знака: цвет, форма,
шрифт и сирена. После сотни исследований, мы нашли ответ в простоте — удаление текстовой части вместе со звёздами и зелёного кольца. В течение сорока лет сирена представляла кофе, и теперь она — звезда.
20-летний старый логотип был построен в первые дни трассировкой рисунка с помощью инструмента autotrace. На рисунке везде были точки. Мы улучшили композицию, разобрались с толщиной линий, сгладили волосы сирены и путём избавления от лишних деталей и уравновешивания частей сирены добились фокусировки на лице сирены.
Мы обратились за брендингом в компанию Lippincott чтобы помочь нашему бренду стать лучше в глобальной перспективе нашей системы идентификации.
Результатом стал логотип с акцентом только на сирене. Логотип стал более энергичным и выразительным, по-прежнему используя зелёный круг, который так хорошо узнаётся нашими клиентами по всему миру
